Summary:Present generation is not going to catch the values without teaching. We have to teach the val ues to this generation before they are caught by the bombarding of the new technological devices. Majority of society regulate and organize regular life. From a sociological perspective, individual and group values like honesty, sedulity, helpfulness to build with societal values to lead better life. Moral awareness should be endorsed to orient the progress in science and technology towards the welfare of mankind. Value education helps in developing character morality, spiritual values, truthfulness, punctuality, honesty. Value education impart the knowledge and skills in human beings about what is universally valuable and how to live in state of continuous happiness and prosperity. In India the students might face more complicated decision-making situation about issued involving values. Its highly necessary to inculcate values in out life specially in the budding minds because they are future of nation. Education without values cannot contribute any significant development of the country.
