Description
Summary:This study aims to determine the role of accessibility, safety and security, comfort, and environmental concern to the intention to use Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Banjarbakula in South Kalimantan. We conducted a correlational survey of 213 female students from Lambung Mangkurat University using self-reports. All participants stated that they had never used BRT before. We analyzed this data using multiple regression techniques. The findings show from four predictors studied, environmental concern, accessibility, and comfort significantly predict the intention to use BRT. These results can illustrate that the sample group of women has a tendency to use public transportation based on their concern for the environment. In addition, these findings also explain that individuals will choose to use public transportation if they have a good perception of the accessibility and comfort with the public transportation.
