Summary:In the article the methodological bases of industrial interior design are discussed. The peculiarities of its perception are analyzed; the process of functional zoning of complexes and separate buildings, their formation is presented. Conceptual impact model which describes the process of developing projects of industrial interiors, various results of those projects and the possible effects created by those results is presented. Qualitative characteristic of industrial interiors, which had served as a basis for displaying current trends and knowledge gaps is presented. In the article methods of spatial composition of public functional areas is discusses. The issues of their functional organization are set out. The provisions of aesthetic comfort that predetermine a person’s positive emotional mood are presented. It is provided by methods and procedures by the help of which all the elements of interior are united to be perceived as a whole. In this study, constructive methods for designing industrial interiors were suggested. This study confirms the usefulness of the extended network concept using constructions, materials and modern analytical methods. It objectively responds to the policy that requires an improvement in the process of internal perception of interior and the requirements for its design.
