Summary: | The bread-making industry is currently very developed due to the increasing demand for bread by the community, which is used as an alternative staple food. Large-scale enterprises dominate the bread-making industry. MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) are unable to compete because of the use of technology in the dough mixing process. This study focuses on product planning for a dough mixing machine using the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) method. The planning is based on design, materials, analysis, and equipment and manufacturing process planning. In this study, the method used is Action Research, engineering, and used software is the SolidWorks simulation design. The design of the machine can be used for a mixing capacity of 10 kg and a rotation speed of 40 rpm. The results of the design consist of several main parts, namely the frame, container, stirrer, and motor. |
