Summary: | Air conditioning split currently use a lot of refrigerants that are not environmentally friendly, one of which is R32. The original R32 air conditioning split was replaced with refrigerant R1270 with a cooling capacity of 1 PK. The goal of this research is to compare the performance of R1270 and R32 refrigerants. R1270 mass charged to split alternating current by 60%. The conditions of the room temperature are 23 C, 25 C, and 27 C with ambient temperature of 30 C. The room temperature conditions are 25 C and 27 C, with ambient temperature being 35 C. The cooling capacity of R1270 has decreased by 44.91% from that of R32 because the cooling capacity is lower, thus affecting the compressor's lower power consumption. There was a decrease in COP from R1270 to R32 of 12.53%. The results obtained show that the performance of the R32 is still better than the R1270. |
