Summary: | The Study here summarizes the principle of fuzzy numbers given by the various researchers. The valuable research carried by the different researchers and their finding are presented in this study. The limits and the criteria for this work have been defined by the different theorems. The researchers have also been proved earlier that fuzzy numbers approximation many times fails to be fuzzy. In this work, we have considered here trapezoidal and triangular fuzzy number‘s approximation that preserves the parameter expected interval, core, ambiguity etc. The variations like piecewise linear 1-knot fuzzy numbers, parabolic fuzzy number, pentagonal and hexagonal fuzzy numbers are also reviewed. |
