Summary: | The study aimed to determine the correlation between mathematical disposition and mathematical communication ability in exponential material. In addition, to find out how great the relationship between the two variables. For this research, we used correlational research with a quantitative approach. The data were collected using an instrument of a mathematical disposition questionnaire and a mathematical communication test. The population in this study was 91 students, then a sample of 44 students was taken using the random sampling technique. Data analysis used Karl Pearson product moment correlation coefficient (r) analysis, correlation coefficient significance test, and calculated the coefficient of determination (r2) to determine the strength of the relationship between variables. The results showed that mathematical disposition positively (r=0.604) and significantly (Sig. 0.00) associated with mathematical communication ability on exponential material. The variance 36.48% (r2) in mathematical communication ability is explained by the mathematical disposition of the exponential materials. As for the rest influenced by other factors. |
