Summary: | The architecture of an on-board simulation model (the software "virtual engine") for use as part of the electronic automatic control system of a modern GTE is considered. The use of such a model allows you to control the engine directly over informing parameters that are not available for measurement. It is shown that such control ensures that key engine parameters are kept at their desired values when engine performance deteriorates during operation. |
