Summary: | The coal quality estimate aims to determine a value for coal quality that may be utilized as a control procedure in coal mining. In estimation activities, it used an Ordinary Kriging (OK) interpolation technique that could estimate the value at unknown locations based on proximity to the location of the sample. A variogram was required to determine the sample search distance in assessing points or blocks that did not have data in this interpolation. Proper analysis in the determination of the variogram model would significantly affect the results of estimation using the Kriging method. The variography analysis of the determination of the variogram model was based on the smallest of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value. The variogram model was used to estimate the Ordinary Kriging total moisture coal was exponential with an error of 6%. The ash content was a spherical model with a 46% error, the total Sulphur was an exponential model with a 46% error, and the caloric value was a Gaussian model with a 3.1% error. With a MAPE value of |
