Summary: | Critical thinking skills is indispensable to ensure environmental sustainability in this era of sustainable development goals. This particular study aims to make a comparison between two groups of students to identify the most essential skills (conclusion, inference, and identifying bias) require to take an environmental decision and take essential actions to save our world from any kind of environmental complications. Primary data were gathered by using a survey questionnaire that was adopted and checked (validity and reliability) properly before implementation. A total of 444 students participated in the study, consisting of 120 students from the rural area and 324 from urban schools. The result shows a statistical significance difference (significance value0.009) between rural and urban students while calculating the overall critical thinking skills. The mean score of urban students (11.3241) indicates better performance than rural students (10.3167). It is recommended to take extra care of rural students so that they will be more sensitive towards the environment. |
