Summary: | In early research [1] it was shown that concrete with frame structure with a volume concentration of coarse aggregate made using crushed granite 0,56 to 0,64 (E-modulus ECA=71 GPa) and crushed siliceous sandstone (ECA=42 GPa) is characterized by the stress-strain diagram, which is significantly different from the deformation diagram of equal strength vibration compaction concrete. Concrete frame diagram on a coarse aggregate with modulus of elasticity 42000 N/mm2 is almost linear over the entire load range. Diagram of concrete on aggregate with modulus of elasticity 71000 N/mm2 has three parts – the initial part, at which the “stress-strain” relationship is almost linear, further, it is noted that the rigidity of concrete is increased i.e. the "stress-strain" diagram becomes steep to a loading level of 0,6, after which a decrease in stiffness is recorded. It is shown that the change in the concentration of coarse aggregate for technological reasons (heterogeneity of the composition) in the range of 0,56 – 0,64 is accompanied by a change in the initial modulus of elasticity of concrete within 5%. Frame structure concretes are characterized by a higher microcracking level which has a significant effect on the performance of compressed [4 - 8] and bending elements under loading [2, 9, 10]. This paper presents the results of experimental studies of the influence of the stability of strength indica-tors and parameters of the "stress-strain" diagram of concretes with frame structure under short-term central axial compression. |
