Summary:The numerical study of methods of active flow and mass transfer control in round free and impinging jets has been performed. The influence of jet excitation method, forcing frequency and amplitude is explored at wide ranges of Reynolds and Strouhal numbers. The jet expansion angle and other integral characteristics are evaluated based on the numerical simulation (DNS, LES) results and compared with the data of other works.
