Summary: | This paper presents the results of a theoretical study of the method for calculating a hydrostatic bearing, which implies the need to set problems for its correction for the conditions of a heavy liquid-metal coolant. The correction consists in obtaining the dependences of the empirical coefficients of the calculation formulas on various parameters of the operating conditions of the bearings and on their various designs. For this, it is necessary to conduct experimental studies of a series of hydrostatic bearings of various types, designed according to this technique. |
