Description
Summary:Dewi Sakti (Integrated Technology-Based Tourism Village) is a new innovation designed by the Village Community Empowerment Program (P2MD) of the Diponegoro University Student Executive Board 2021 to deal with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic with a focus on developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in supporting tourism activities in Sambirejo Village. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research located in Sambirejo Village, Bringin District, Semarang Regency which aims to determine the level of involvement of MSME actors in the Dewi Sakti Program. There are 15 respondents involved in this study. All respondents are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Both testing and evaluation were used during the Dewi Sakti program to assess changes in community involvement in the Dewi Sakti program. The results showed that at the beginning of the engagement program, MSME actors were still not active due to lack of knowledge about product processing, packaging and marketing. After discussing, the community began to understand how to use technology as a forum to develop Tourism Villages and a means of marketing MSME products. Currently, there is a product that has been agreed to be developed by the MSME group in Sambirejo Village, namely Stik Pisang. In addition, there is a plan to make the MSME product production site a tourist destination, namely by inviting tourists to come alone and then take them home as souvenirs typical of Sambirejo. The creation of the Dewi Sakti website can already be accessed via a link but cannot be searched through search engines because SEO is still in the process of being set up. Later on, this website is also expected to be a place for marketing and branding products for the MSME group. In the long term, after all the development is done, many ideas come from the village community to make Sambirejo Village more developed. The conclusion of this research is that people are willing to adapt and use new innovations as long as there is someone who accompanies and helps them.
