Summary:A novel semi organic NLO crystal sodium boro succinate (NaBS) has been synthesized by solution growth method. NaBS single crystal has been grown by slow evaporation technique of the ratio 1:1 ethanol and water solvent. The single crystal structure of NaBS has been determined by X-Ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the Monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 7.7421(2) Å, b = 14.9136(3) Å, c = 12.6480(3) Å and β = 96. 1644 (3)
