Summary: | To Imagination of infrastructure in developing countries like India is not possible without using concrete as main construction material. For huge construction industry there is a large requirement of scarce materials like cement sand & aggregate. This work involves the preparation & testing of concrete sample with fractional use of quarry dust at rates 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% & fractional use of cement with Cow dung ash at different substitution rates of 5%, 10%, 15 and 20%, then various tests were performed on fresh and hardened concrete containing 100% natural sand & cement. Finally, an optimum amount of Sand & cement has been determined & a concrete sample was prepared using this configuration, its strength & workability were estimated and found satisfactory. |
