Summary: | This study aims to identify the improvement of the nutritional values of palm oil sludge through the bioconversion process using Neurospora crassa mold. The experiment was designed according to a completely randomized design (CRD) with five concentrations of mold as the treatments with four replicates, giving a total number of the experimental units of 20. The mold concentrations were 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20% of the palm oil sludge-based substrate. The mixtures were subjected to proximate and phytochemical analyses after aerobic incubation for 96 hours at room temperature. The results indicated that bioconversion of palm oil sludge with the mold of Neurospora crassa significantly improved (P |
