Considering the industrial revolutions 4.0, higher learning institution, such as educators specifically, required to develop interventions in teaching and learning in the class. In order to attract and engage with the digital learners, creative and innovative interventions are necessary. Thus, it is implementing EDpuzzle adoption among accounting students in Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy. Motivated by the lack of perceptive literature and through lecturing experience, this proposal aims fostering engagement via EDpuzzle adoption as intervention in teaching and learning to the most censure profession, future accountants. This study constructed its main objective, that is to understand the current interaction level between students and lecturer during teaching and learning sessions. Furthermore, to examine whether the use of scenario-based approach using Edpuzzle as a tool, helps to develop good interaction level between students and lecturer. To achieve the aim, this research employed Scenario based approach. Overall, this finding is authentic and original as it promotes engagement via EDPuzzle. Finding showed that EDPuzzle classroom has made effective interactive environment between students and with the lecturer by answering the questions given by the lecturers in the videos. The class becomes more active with two-way interactions and the students look happy since they find that the new method is very helpful for them to complete the tasks. With a large group of students and time limitations in completing the syllabus, EDPuzzle approach is the suggested way to be implemented by an educator to enhance active classroom, thus increasing interactive environment and critical thinking skills. |
