Description
Summary:Electric power plays a vital role in people’s lives and the development of various sectors of t he economy. The modern economy is very dependent on electrical energy as the main driver in ongoing activities. This causes an increase in the number and capacity of power plants. Wind power plant is a new renewable energy generator developed to increase power generation capacity in Indonesia. Instability of wind speed results in wind power generation having to be stored in the battery before being distributed to the load. There is an inverter in the battery discharging system which functions to change the amount of DC (Direct Current) to AC (Alternating Current). The circuit used can be a single-phase inverter and its control system. This study aims to obtain the results of the characterization and response of a single-phase inverter voltage control using fuzzy logic. The input of fuzzy logic control is error and delta error, while the output is PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). The results show that changes in the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) value will affect the inverter output voltage. The voltage control response on the inverter uses sound fuzzy logic at a value of 220 V and has a steady-state error value of 0.909%.
