Summary: | Heavy metal pollution in soil has risen to the top of the environmental priority list as a global environmental issue. The degradation of land resources is becoming increasingly problematic as the world’s population and industries continue to grow at an alarming rate. In order to make sensible use of land resources, repairing polluted soil for reuse has emerged as a novel concept. In order to resolve the tension between population, resources, and the natural environment, nanomaterials remediation technology has emerged as a viable approach. For the purpose of cleanup of polluted soils. Because of their large specific surface area, substantial adsorption capacity, and strong reactivity, they are extremely effective. It is the purpose of this article to provide an overview of the major types of nanomaterials, the origins of polluted soil, and the use of nanotechnology for soil remediation. As part of this research, correlational research on the application of nanomaterials for remediation in contaminated soil is brought together in order to create a theoretical foundation for the sensible and efficient use of land resources, which is the goal of this study. |
