The current development of information and communication technology, especially with mobile phones, can be applied in various fields, one of which is the field of tourism, mobile phones have supporting facilities. The information system that presents information on natural tourism objects in North Sumatra and others, such as the Internet, has succeeded in influencing the world community. Now mobile phones with internet features are not just a technology for sharing data via e-mail, ftp, and others. However, the internet also offers various sites that provide various things such as social networks which are very popular in today’s society. This social network allows every community to communicate with other people in other regions or in other countries. Using communication technology, such as mobile phones and the internet as a multifunctional tool, because of its multifunctionality, people can use this technology positively or negatively depending on each individual One form of presenting information about tourist attractions in North Sumatra is to increase visitors by building applications that are able to present information and provide directions about tourist locations to the general public geographically based on Android by utilizing the Google Maps application. In this case the development method used is waterfall. With 5 stages namely system analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. In the planning process, data collection is carried out in the form of problem identification by means of observation to determine user needs. In the process of analysis carried out analyzing business processes. For design, it is used to design, data modeling using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The Geographic Information System makes it easy to present information about the location and natural tourist attractions by using the Android programming language by providing a list of tourist objects, a brief description of tourist objects, as well as tourist routes that are integrated with Google Maps.
