Summary:Tank cleaning is a most common procedure performed on ships. Usually, ship tanks are cleaned manually. Because of vast space in tank and lack of oxygen inside the tank people are dying more. People associated with this process are very well aware of the hazards and accidents. In spite of all the precautions which is been taken before cleaning ship tanks, still accidents are occurring while cleaning ship tanks. So, Designing of robotic arm which is movable to clean the ship tanks is essential. Robotics technology is used as the substitute or replicate for human actions. Robotic arm are machines that are programmed to execute a specific task or work quickly than humans efficiently and effectively so that in this project robotic arm is used. By adapting robotic arm in this process, the fatal accidents can be avoided and lives of humans are saved because of this movable robotic arm. The robotic arm will be connected to the water supply tank and it will spray the water to clean all the impurities present in the ship tank. Robotic arm will splash the water according to the tank size and power supply. The manual control of directions makes the cleaning process feasible.
