Description
Summary:The article analyzes construction-technological processes during the reconstruction of green roofs on a multifunctional building in Brno. The reason for the reconstruction was the insufficient thickness of the substrate and the absence of a hydroaccumulation layer that would ensure better growth of vegetation. First, the original layers of substrate and vegetation were removed and the existing geotextiles and waterproofing were inspected. Subsequently, a pre-designed new roof composition with a hydroaccumulation layer and a larger layer of substrate for better vegetation growth was installed on the roof. During the reconstruction process, a time-lapse camera was located on the roof, recording the time spent by workers removing the original material, transporting new materials to the roof, and the time of subsequent storage.
