Description
Summary:Diterpenoid compounds from the ethyl acetate extract the P. canescens leaves have been isolated. Isolation was begain with extraction process by maceration method using solvents with increasing polarity (n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol), than separation and purification the ethyl acetate extract were carried out using chromatography techniques. The structure of isolated compounds were determined using 1D NMR (1H NMR, 13C NMR, dan DEPT) spectroscopy and comparing by in the literature data. Based on the analysis of spectroscopic data, the isolated compounds were a mixture of Peronemin A2 (1) and Peronemin B2 (2). This compounds have been know previously.
