Description
Summary:This contribution presents changes in gender equality in physics in Lithuanian universities and research organi-zations. Since the current situation and changes in the main scientific institutions of Lithuania are closely related to the Euro-pean Union policy on gender equality in science, we summarize the key policy-guiding principles. Thus, in some sense, our paper also represents the impact of the gender-equity policies of Lithuanian organizations conducting research and education in the field of physics, which have effected change in gender equality in physics. The current situation of gender equality in physics research organizations in Lithuania is presented and the dynamics of the changes are discussed and analyzed.
