Summary: | A high efficiency near-infrared (NIR) photomultiplication-type organic photodetector (PM-OPD) has been achieved by combining the energetic disorder and trap-assisted charge tunneling injection. The performance of the prepared NIR PM-OPD with simple structure was significantly improved, and the external quantum efficiency and specific detectivity (D*) reached 5675% and 5.0 × 1011 Jones, respectively. Furthermore, the high-performance NIR PM-OPD also showed application in human heart rate detection. |
