Description
Summary:Intracranial tumor commonly referred as Brain tumor is one of the most affecting diseases in Humans irrespective of age concern. The Progressive medical field is still failing to detect the tumors at initial stages and the detection process is involves complex procedures. With the advancements of magnetic imaging, MRI is developed and used to detect the Tumors in brain and any part of the body and provides sufficient information about human tissue. At times MRI fails to detect the tumor of size smaller than millimeters. So a Sufficient Image Processing Technique is used to enhance the quality of MRI image thereby increasing detection efficiency higher at early stages. On viewing the necessity, a model was proposed with Template K-means and an improved Fuzzy C-means (TKFHECM) algorithm for more accurate and efficient tumor detection. The KFCM algorithm is an addition of the K-means and fuzzy C-means with some modifications.
