Study on the crystallite and thermal properties of the nano-sized tricalcium phosphate by using XRD and DSC
Previously, the nano-sized tricalcium phosphate samples are prepared by the sol-gel method in this work. There are three samples of the nano-sized tricalcium phosphate resulted from its gel in the dry form, when temperature at 800 °C, 1000 °C, and 1200 °C are applied on the gel phases of the sample....

Summary: | Previously, the nano-sized tricalcium phosphate samples are prepared by the sol-gel method in this work. There are three samples of the nano-sized tricalcium phosphate resulted from its gel in the dry form, when temperature at 800 °C, 1000 °C, and 1200 °C are applied on the gel phases of the sample. After that, several parameters of the crystal characteristic have been confirmed by using the XRD to reveal the relevant parameters, such as the crystallite size, crystallite strain, crystallite dislocation, and crystallinity degree. Meanwhile, the thermal characteristics, such as the melting point, specific heat capacity, enthalpy of fusion, and crystallization enthalpy parameters, they are studied by using the DSC-TG. |
