Summary: | This paper demonstrated the synthesis of SnO2 nanoparticles used electrolysis method (24 V) added with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) 1M. The results of SnO2 nanoparticles were characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer (FTIR), Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). XRD results showed diffractogram from the product similar to that of Powder Diffraction Data number 01-070-6995. Thermogram data showed that the formation of SnO2 nanoparticles occurred at 350°C with average particles size 100 nm. The image from SEM and TEM displayed that SnO2 nanoparticles were monodispersed spherical and nanoneedles. |
