Summary: | Tollgates are part of our life. There are hundreds of cars passing by a tollgate in a day. The main objective of the project is to bring innovation in tollgates and produce energy, utilize them for other beneficial purpose. The innovation done here is the introduction of Uni-directional speed breakers, these breakers when rotated are connected to certain components which convert the mechanical rotational energy into electrical energy. The electrical energy thus produced is either stepped up by using a transformer and fed to the electric grid or is used up by the working stations near the tollgate. This project also helps in the harnessing in the waste energy.it meets up with the energy demand of the nation as the need for it keep on increasing on daily basis. |
