Description
Summary:Energy consumption and network lifetime are significant issues for a WSN. Numerous optimization techniques can be employed to select a path between nodes at source and destination. The challenge is in establishing a routing algorithm which takes into account the crucial factors of reducing the energy use and enhancing network longevity. This study article introduces a broad categorization of WSN optimization methods for energy-aware routing. This review’s objective is to present several decentralized energy-aware routing strategies that are appropriate for most WSN applications that demand reducing energy use and improving network lifetime. The study is then concluded with a comparative analysis that highlights the key problems and possible future paths.
