Description
Summary:This paper proposes a non-classical theory of stressed plates. Resolving equations are obtained in terms of longitudinal forces of shear forces and internal moments, and boundary conditions are formulated. The obtained solutions simultaneously satisfy the equilibrium equations and the Beltrami-Mitchell stress compatibility equations. A boundary value problem is formulated for a plate under the action of mutually balanced loads. Some applied problems have been solved.
