Summary: | Energy problems are very complex and ongoing problems because of the large demand for energy needs and unbalanced energy supply. Utilization of fossil energy sources can be transferred to renewable energy sources (Renewable Energy). One of the renewable energy sources is the use of wind energy, namely by utilizing wind conversion using wind turbine technology. This is in line with the big plan of the UNILA Strategic Plan, that UNILA is committed to becoming a sustainable campus by becoming a green campus. The purpose of this research is design wind turbine based on the number of blades and phenomena aerodynamics wind turbine. In this study, wind turbines will be designed and aerodynamic analysis of wind turbines based on the number of blades will be designed and then the power output generated from each number of blades will be analyzed, namely the number of blades 3 and 5. Shows that the power generated on the number of blades 5 with 400 Rpm and a maximum Wind Velocity of 12 m/s results in a power increase of 1600 W. |
