Description
Summary:CNTs have been recognized as remarkable reinforcing elements, resulting in efficient outcomes in increasing a wide range of technical applications. Aluminum reinforced with a modest amount of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has the potential to greatly strengthen the aluminum matrix, making it very appealing for usage in a variety of industries. Uniform dispersion of CNTs acting as functional element to enhance the performance of Al-CNT. On the other hand, the main difficulty in creating Al-CNT composites has been ensuring a consistent distribution of carbon nanotubes. CNTs are difficult to spread homogeneously, which might lead to agglomeration. CNT agglomerates are often regarded as the most damaging effect on CNT-Al composites, causing the composites mechanical characteristics to deteriorate. Thus, the influence of CNT agglomerations in Al-CNT composites has been discussed in this review paper.
