Description
Summary:Lighting in underground parking lots plays a very important role in providing a sense of security and comfort to its users. On the other hand, the continuous use of manual lighting systems will result in excessive energy consumption and high operational costs. To improve energy-efficient parking management, Internet of Things (IoT) technology is used in this research as a solution. By using IoT, a lighting system is created that can work automatically with the aim of reducing the use of electrical energy. In this research, the lighting will only turn on brightly when there is movement from the vehicle while when there is no vehicle movement, the lighting will automatically dim as an effort to reduce electrical energy consumption. From this research it can be concluded that range value of the percentage error in current testing using INA219 sensor is 1.28% to 2.2%. In voltage testing on the INA219 sensor, the range percentage of error is 0.65% to 0.8%. From the automatic mode used, it has a power saving opportunity more than 60% compared to manual mode and from automatic lights based on sensors have 30% chance of saving power compared to 40% bright lights continuously.
