Summary:Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) continues as a particularly conspicuous cause of mortality and horribleness all-inclusive. The antibiotic-resistant strains in particular methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MSRA) is the root cause to create resistance against anti-microbials. The present review aims to reveal the prevalence of MRSA and battle in managing MRSA. The literature search was accomplished using PubMed, Science direct, Google scholar, and the Cochrane library to recognise appropriate scientific articles. The MRSA has evolved beating methicillin along with winning this battle MRSA also has won the position in global prevalence. There is an urgent need to develop a weapon from the medical sector to cut off the prevalence as well as to manage the resistance. More research is needed to deal with the MRSA prevalence and resistance.
