Summary: | Using the spin coating approach, n-type TiO2 thin films have been coated using the sol-gel process onto p-type silicon substrates. The film’s XRD pattern reveals the existence of the most prominent silicon peak in addition to peaks representing the mixed anatase and rutile phases of TiO2. Debye-Scherrer’s formula yielded a crystallization size (CZ) of 48 nm. Using TiO2/Si as the working electrode, the linearity of the electrochemical responses to sucrose at various concentrations was thoroughly examined. |
