Prototype of cathodoluminescent lamp for general lighting using carbon fiber field emission cathode

The prototype of a cathodoluminescent bulb with a field emission cathode based on carbon fiber is manufactured. The bulb comprises a high-voltage built-in AC–DC converter of the electric line voltage and a standard E27 cap. The luminous flux of the bulb amounts to 250 lm (comparable to a 25 W incand...

Description
Summary:The prototype of a cathodoluminescent bulb with a field emission cathode based on carbon fiber is manufactured. The bulb comprises a high-voltage built-in AC–DC converter of the electric line voltage and a standard E27 cap. The luminous flux of the bulb amounts to 250 lm (comparable to a 25 W incandescent bulb), and its luminous efficiency is 30–40 lm/W at the wall-plug power of 5.5 W.
