A general elementary proof for the momentum–energy relationship, p=E/c, for a pulse on a loss-free transmission line
The impulse delivered to the resistively terminated end of a loss-free transmission line is found, independently of the geometry of the line, using elementary physics, with an elementary application of the method of virtual work. The results correspond to the momentum–energy association p=E/c.
