Characterization of the Dual-Active Bridge topology for high-power applications employing a duty-cycle modulation

Summary: | In the present paper the dual-active bridge topology employing a duty-cycle modulation is studied. The behavior of the converter at steady-state is examined. Additionally, the small-signal model of the topology is presented and the dynamic behavior is examined. Simulations and experimental results are presented. It is worth noticing that the converter is operated under softs-witching conditions in a wide load range. |
