Summary:The overall solid-to-solid phase transformation kinetics under non-isothermal conditions in Zr alloys has been evaluated using a model presented on our preceding note [1]. It uses as input an applied thermal history and calculates the time/temperature variation of the volume fraction of the new phase in α ↔ β transition in Zr alloys under heating/cooling, in concordance with experiments.
