Summary:The present systematic review aims to summarize the current evidence regarding various treatment modalities and their results when dealing with hypersensitivity in teeth with Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH). Systematic searches were conducted in PubMed and Scopus using the search terms "MIH AND Hypersensitivity AND treatment." Studies involving children aged 6-18 years diagnosed with MIH and exhibiting hypersensitivity were considered for inclusion. The outcomes examined included clinical, behavioral, and psychosocial treatment options for reducing hypersensitivity. A meta-analysis was performed for six of the included articles, and the I value was calculated to determine heterogeneity. A total of eight articles met the inclusion criteria for this review, with six eligible for the meta-analysis.
