Study of second-class currents effects on polarization characteristics in quasi-elastic neutrino (anti-neutrino) scattering by nuclei

The differential cross section of quasi-elastic neutrino scattering by nuclei is computed. The numerical analysis of energy dependence of the spin asymmetry, the angular electron-neutrino (eν) correlation and the charge asymmetry coefficients shows that the relative contribution of the seco...

Description
Summary:The differential cross section of quasi-elastic neutrino scattering by nuclei is computed. The numerical analysis of energy dependence of the spin asymmetry, the angular electron-neutrino (eν) correlation and the charge asymmetry coefficients shows that the relative contribution of the second-class current (SCC) tensor form factor can reach some tens of percents in the case of particular values of final nuclei alignment and polarization.
