Summary:In this paper, we calculate the resolution of a photorefractive incoherent-to-coherent optical converter on the image plane for small diffraction efficiency by taking into account the optical imaging characteristics of the imaging lens. For a thin grating, we obtain a high resolution, which is comparable with the experimental results.
