Description
Summary:In the pathogenesis of various organs, fibrosis is often considered as a hardly irreversible progress, treatment of which has already become one of the most important prognostic indicators.Different mechanisms and many factors are involved in the process of organ fibrosis. With the development of relative researches,it is discovered that farnesoid X receptor (FXR;NR1H4) may play a significant role in this process. In addition, synthetic FXR agonists may make it possible for FXR to be the potential therapeutic target in curing fibrosis of organs.
