Description
Summary:Pressure Injury Prevention Miniaturized multi‐modal sensor arrays continuously measure the distribution of pressure, shear, and temperature at skin interfaces of patients lying in bed, in a battery‐free and wireless manner. Validation trials using the sensor arrays and a pneumatic actuator demonstrated efficacy in redistributing pressure and shear to prevent pressure injuries without manual intervention by caregiver, thereby improving the patient's quality of life.
