Description
Summary:In this article, four secosteroids, including physalin B (1), physalin D (2), physalin F (3), and physalin G (4) were isolated from the dichloromethane extract of P. angulata growing in Thai Binh, Vietnam by using various chromatographic methods. Their chemical structures were determined by analyses of 1D and 2D‐NMR spectral data as well as comparison with those published in the literature. Anti‐microbial assays showed that compounds 1‐3 exhibited anti‐microbial against a panel of clinically significant microorganisms with MIC values from 32 to 128 μg/mL.
