Description
Summary:The inverse diffraction problem is considered for a layered dielectric plate in a metal waveguide of arbitrary cross-section. The proposed solution is based on the Cauchy problem for the Riccati equation. Based on this solution, algorithm and code are developed for the dielectric permittivity profile reconstruction. The measured and mathematically simulated values of the complex reflection coefficient at finite number of frequencies are used as input data. Reconstructed dielectric permittivity profiles for layered plates are in good agreement with measured ones.
