Description
Summary:The role of parallel element grid in recognizing faint objects is examined by using thin wires as objects, imaged by a camera under defocused condition. The objects were illuminated by incoherent monochromatic radiation. The technique is sensitive to small variations in the instrumentation conditions and hence vindicates the possibility for the development of an object specific grid to study any given object.
