The excess enthalpies of liquid (dichlorodifluoromethane + N,N-dimethylacetamide) from 263.15 to 413.15 K and 4.33 to 4.53 MPa

The excess molar enthalpies H m E for { xCCl 2F 2 + (1- x)CH 3CON(CH 3) 2} mixtures were measured from 263.15 to 413.15 K in the pressure range of 4.33 to 4.53 MPa using isothermal flow calorimeters. Description
Summary:The excess molar enthalpies H m E for { xCCl 2F 2 + (1- x)CH 3CON(CH 3) 2} mixtures were measured from 263.15 to 413.15 K in the pressure range of 4.33 to 4.53 MPa using isothermal flow calorimeters. The mixtures showed endothermic and exothermic behavior. The H m E values become successively more negative for 363.15, 383.15, 393.15, and 403.15 K. The Redlich-Kister equation gave a good fit of H m E( x) over the entire composition range for the temperatures between 263.15 and 383.15 K. The fits for 393.15, 403.15, and 413.15 K were not as good. The changes in H m E with temperature are discussed in terms of approaching the critical temperature of dichlorodifluoromethane and the effect this has on the physical properties of the pure components and the mixture.
